She is one of the pioneers in the field of health & wellness in the entire eastern U.P. She did her B.Sc . and M.Sc. ( Botany ) with Science College, Patna. She trained in Institute of Health & Fitness at Melbourne, Australia. She was also awarded a Diploma in Cosmetic Laser therapy by Aloka’s College of Cosmetology.
She set up the 1st Gym by the name of SLIMMERS meant exclusively for ladies in Eastern U.P. in the city of Varanasi way back in the year 1989 and ran it successfully it for 35 years. She has been a guest speaker at various prestigious events related to health. She has also been conferred with numerous awards over the years including prestigious BIHAR RATNA.
She was felicitated on women’s day by the Varanasi Branch of Central India Regional Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Her constant drive to still upgrade her knowledge and learn all the latest techniques is what makes her a role model for today’s generation.
